Nature holds a great appeal for me, if I do not have time to sketch or record a scene by hand then I use one of my cameras, my little Canon SK220, my Nikon D40, or these days sometimes my iPad although the latter feels very clumsy to me and I am embarrassed about using it because of its obviousness. My pictures may be general just capturing what is around me, or may be to do with a project. I am working with the idea of 'strands' for our next Tags exhibition theme. I have been thinking about the shoreline with its pebbles and stones and the negative spaces they form.
